ABA Therapy for Autism & Other Special Needs
ABA Therapy for Autism: Child Behaviour Support
Applied Behaviour Sciences, also known as ABA, is the science-backed therapy of choice for children and adults with Autism and other Special Needs.
We wholeheartedly believe in a modern approach to ABA Therapy, putting the child’s happiness and comfort first.
Our team of Child Behaviour Specialists work predominantly with children on the spectrum, but we also cater to young adults who may need extra support functioning in a neuro-typical world.
We use Positive Behaviour Support interventions within ABA therapy to ensure safe, effective and long-lasting positive behaviour change.

What is ABA?
Applied Behaviour Analysis is a scientific approach that applies our understanding of how behaviour works to real-world settings. It uses individualised strategies to increase helpful behaviours and decrease those that may be harmful.
We emphasise the importance on respecting each child and young person’s rights to prioritise their mental well-being.
We are committed to using the least restrictive methods and emphasise interventions that are overwhelmingly positive in nature.
Our strategies are designed to encourage growth and learning while ensuring each child feels safe, respected, and fully supported.

Why use PBS?
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is backed by decades of extensive ABA research. PBS operates on the key principle that all behaviour is a form of communication, often representing unmet needs or skill deficits.
Every person's needs, values, and goals are unique, and our PBS strategies are tailored to recognise and respect these differences. Instead of punitive measures, we prioritise strategies that emphasise new skills and positive behaviour changes.
We ensure every individual is supported.
We proactively turn potential hurdles into fun stepping stones for learning.
What to expect from a Child Behaviour Specialist in the UK
In our quest to provide the most effective support possible, here's what you can expect when you embark on this journey with us.
Personalised Consultation: Your journey begins with a meeting with one of our highly experienced Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA/UKBA(cert)). Our analyst will engage with you and your child, or the individual in your care, to gather comprehensive information that will form the cornerstone of our teaching and support strategies.
Thorough Assessment: We utilise reliable tools such as The Verbal Behaviour Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), Functional Behaviour Assessments, and Assessments of Functional Living Skills. These comprehensive and well-established assessment methods allow us to evaluate your child's or the individual's language, learning, behavioural, personal and social skills.
Detailed Understanding: These assessments will offer crucial insights into an individual’s current skill level, areas of strength, and aspects that require further support. This thorough understanding helps us identify the most effective strategies for aid development, reduce behaviours of concern and create opportunities for individuals to thrive.
Customised Goals: Following the assessment, we set targets specifically tailored to meet the needs of the individual and teach critical skills to replace behaviours of concern. These personalised goals ensure that our support is directly aligned with the individual’s growth trajectory in a manner that respects their rights and dignity.
Focused Early Learning Programme: Our early learning programs predominantly focus on enhancing language and communication skills. By prioritising these essential areas, we equip your child or the individual in your care with the tools needed for successful communication and interpersonal interaction.
“The tailored specialist support our son has received from All Behaviour Consultancy has been exceptional. The team are kind, caring and very flexible in their approach. How does ABA improve child development?
Our individualised ABA curriculum is developed to meet each individual child’s (or adult’s) needs. Each skill is carefully broken down into simple parts and students are presented with multiple opportunities to practice the skills.
All skills are taught in a manner that serves meaning and purpose to the child or adult, within the context in which that skill is most likely to be used.
We ensure that children in particular learn through their motivations so that learning is fun, which increases opportunities to learn skills.
Research has proven ABA-specific strategies for improving language and social skills, successfully mainstreaming children with autism, and allowing adults to thrive in a non-neurodiverse world.
The research underscores the effectiveness of ABA-focused strategies in bolstering language and social skills, paving the way for Autistic children to navigate and receive the best support in their communities. ABA support also successfully integrates kids with special needs into mainstream schools, empowering them to flourish in a non-neurodiverse world.
What does an early ABA programme for my child look like?
An early ABA programme for children with autism can address every type of behaviour relevant to each individual child.
A modern ABA programme is very different from years ago. Now it’s much more about being fun, positive, flexible and practical for the child.
We use the fundamentals behind Positive Behaviour Support to reduce challenging behaviours that can occur with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental or learning difficulties.
Our team of friendly and experienced ABA Therapy Specialists, led by Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst, Georgiana Koyama (Msc, BCBA), will give your Autistic or Special Needs child the best support possible, allowing them to thrive and hit new milestones.
